       Recognizing the pivotal role of public health in the development of our nation, the Indian Public Health Association (IPHA) and the Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine (IAPSM) collectively serving as national-level professional bodies in the field of Community Medicine/Public Health, they are devoted to promoting public health and leveraging their members’ expertise to contribute to the development of health policies.

      Sri Venkateswara Medical College, recognized as one of the premier institutions in the country, located in the spiritual capital of South India, Tirupati, is renowned for its commitment to excellence in medical education and research.

     With this backdrop, the Department of Community Medicine at Sri Venkateswara Medical College, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, is set to host the 29th Andhra Pradesh State Joint Conference of IPHA and IAPSM on August 30th and 31st 2024.

       As we come together for this significant event, let us engage in fruitful discussions, share our experiences, and collectively work towards the betterment of public health in India. I am confident that this conference will be filled with enlightenment, collaboration, and inspiration.
